Event description

Minecraft Building Worlds Family Workshop (Ages 7+)

Date: 1, 2 & 9 October

Time: 10am - 4pm each day

Location: Theatre, Museums Discovery Centre, Castle Hill

Price: Adult $25 | Child $25

Learn, create and play as a family in a Minecraft world specially constructed by the Powerhouse.

Intergenerational groups will be guided through Minecraft activities and games before changing into ‘creative mode’ to design their own Minecraft creation.

This family-friendly short workshop is designed to encourage conversations between young learners and adults that establish a framework for learning to continue at home.

This workshop series uses Minecraft Education Edition a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. The Minecraft world used is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse Castle Hill.

Recommended for ages 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult, although one adult may accompany multiple children within a small group of family and friends. Bookings essential for all participants (children and adults).
