MINECRAFT CAMP

Guided by an experienced instructor, participants will explore Minecraft worlds, take on fun building challenges, learn new skills, and collaborate with other players in a safe and supportive environment.

Suitable for ages 8-12 years

• Lunch and water for the day

• Optional: If participants have their own personal Java Minecraft usernames, they are welcome and highly encouraged to bring them along.

• Morning tea: A fresh fruit platter will be provided.

• Laptops fully loaded with Mind Buzz usernames ready to go.

• An awesome Mind Buzz lanyard and activity booklet for attending.

• Ongoing access to our secure, exclusive online server after the camp wraps up so the learning doesn't stop.

• A Safe, Collaborative Space: Kids will have the chance to build, create, and collaborate in a live, highly supervised environment.

• Skill Building Through Play: Participants will explore multiple game worlds and learn useful Minecraft commands. We focus heavily on problem-solving, teamwork, and developing social skills with a strong emphasis on creativity and kindness.

1. Morning Kickoff & Setup: Welcome everyone, hand out lanyards and booklets, and get everyone logged in smoothly (using our supplied laptops or their own accounts).

2. Team Building & Exploration: We jump into the purpose-built Java Minecraft server to explore the game worlds and start learning commands.

3. Lunch & Screen Break: Time to step back, stretch, and refuel with the food and water they brought.

4. Collaborative Challenges: Kids work together in team challenges to build awesome creations and practice their teamwork.

5. Wrap-Up: We wrap up by explaining how they can continue connecting and learning in our virtual playground and social learning platform after the live event is over.
