Mini Clay Cacti Pots

We invite young people aged 12+ to join us at the Yass Valley Library for a creative, hands-on introduction to polymer clay sculpting.

This 3 hour workshop offers a fun and engaging opportunity to learn clay modelling techniques while creating your own miniature cactus gardens.

What participants will do during the session:

• Learn how to properly condition and manipulate polymer clay.

• Explore colour mixing, marbling, and texturing techniques.

• Prepare little posts for the gardens.

• Create detailed polymer clay cacti, succulents, and soil elements.

• Assemble their pieces into a cohesive miniature garden display.

• Share and photograph their completed creations with the group.

By the end of the class, each participant will have a finished miniature garden to take home.

We provide all tools, polymer clay, and baking instructions. No prior experience is necessary.
