Mini Textured Paintings

These paintings are based on texture so you create the texture, carve it into the surface and Powertex it to make it permanent. Layers of colour are then added over the surface until your eyes are satisfied!

Session 1:

Create the textures. Carving, pressing, stamping. Abstract or based on a favourite landscape or flower. We then heat the surface with a heat gun to let the textures develop. A layer of Powertex is painted over the surface.

Session 2:

This is where the fun starts! COLOUR. Layers of colour are built up over the textured surfaces. Hangers on the back and it's ready to hang up.

(Later when it gets dusty, just wash it down, leave it to dry and hang back up.)

$10 materials fee is included.
