This limited edition book, THE MINIS TO THE MAX: 65 YEARS OF SPIRITED ADVENTURES, celebrates the evolution of MINI. Starting with MINIs heritage, the vehicle range including motorsport, unique special editions, their passionate owners, and provides a look into the future of the MINI brand.
In 2024, MINI will be celebrating 65 years of fun and innovation. While the original Mini is considered an icon of 1960s British popular culture, BMW has owned MINI as a brand for 28 years! Its space-saving transverse engine and front-wheel drive layout allowed 80% of the area of the car’s floor pan to be used for passengers and luggage and influenced a generation of car makers. Mini has a rich heritage of performance in race and rally cars, winning the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965, and 1967. Today, MINI continues its racing heritage in the TC America Touring Car Series. BMW launched the new MINI in 2001 drawing inspiration from the original two-door design and brought significant performance improvements to the brand.
The 9" X 6" exhibit guide chronicles the 27 Minis in the exhibit through 80 pages and showcases their passionate owners, and a timeline of the history of Mini/MINI. The color 80 page guide may be mini is size, but is just as spirited as the exhibit!
