Join us in our series of mini professional development classes for busy ministers and leaders of churches.

Rose will talk about their learnings in living faith out in ways that makes faith more relevant to people outside the orbit of the church, community living, place making and strength-based community development.

Rose is currently CEO of the Neighbourhood Collective Australia and co-Founder of the Old Church on the Hill – a treasured community centre in the regional town of Bendigo in Victoria. Rose has over 30 years experience in intentional missional-community living with Cornerstone Community in rural and regional Australia. Rose has post grad qualifications in Community Planning and Development and has recently worked as Director of Regional Affairs for the Victorian peak body for migrant and refugee communities. Rose loves to share about her experience in regional community development and cross-cultural work and has a wealth of experience in Christian community living, how to be ‘salty’, resident-led spaces, community resilience, multicultural affairs, emergency preparedness, and regional settlement.
Rose is a Mexican Australian and migrated with her family to outback NSW in the early 70s. Growing up in a remote community with plenty of challenges Rose knows the strength of lived out faith, resilient communities and the power of belonging. Rose lives in Bendigo with her husband Andy and their tribe around the Old Church on the Hill.
