Minna (UK)
Description
"When wolves lick your teeth, it's their way of shaking you by the hand and saying hello," shares world-wandering UK folk artist Minna. It's the kind of encounter that inspired Colorado, her forthcoming EP, written during a period living and working at a wolf sanctuary in Colorado, USA in 2024.
Originally from the Scottish Borders and now based in London, Minna's songs blend vivid imagery, adventurous spirit and heartfelt lyricism, drawing listeners into landscapes both physical and emotional.
Following the release of Camino (2025), the first in a series of adventure-folk EPs, Colorado continues Minna's exploration of place, connection and the wild. The collection captures moments of wonder, freedom and belonging.
Minna's soulful folk music has been gradually winning over fans in recent years, as evidenced by a sold-out headline show at London's St Pancras Old Church, numerous prominent support slots, and being named "a newfound Janis Joplin, an absolute game changer" by comedian Johnny Vegas in conversation with Craig Charles on BBC radio.
In November 2026, Minna heads to Australia for her first run of Victorian shows, appearing on stages alongside Darren Hanlon and at the sold out Town Folk Festival. She'll be joined by Ruby Milner for an intimate sit-down show at Wesley Anne.
