🏳️‍🌈 Wear It Purple Melbourne is back for 2025

In celebration of Wear It Purple Day 2025, Minus18 is throwing an epic night of queer celebration and connection designed especially for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 12 to 19. Expect live music, snacks, activities, new pals, exclusive access to view some incredible art, and heaps of opportunities to connect with other young people.

New to queer events? That’s totally okay. Been out and proud for years? We love that too.

No matter how you arrive, there’s a space for you here on one of the safest, sparkliest nights of the year. We can’t wait to share it with you.

🎟️ Tickets are FREE and exclusively for young people aged 12 to 19.

💖 Come exactly as you are – and leave feeling even more yourself.

Event Details

When: Saturday 5 July 2025.

Time: 5:30pm to 9:00pm.

Where: Art Gallery - TBC, Melbourne.

Who: LGBTQIA+ young people aged 12–19.

Tickets: FREE (but they book out fast, don’t miss out!)

Food & Drink: Free snacks and soft drinks. We recommend eating beforehand to stay energised!

Accessibility & Safety

👥 Strictly for ages 12 to 19.

❌ This event will be alcohol, drug, vape and smoke-free.

💡NO Strobing.

🧡 Youth Workers and Safety Angels will be onsite.

🤫 Quiet Space available.
