Two sentimentalists of the highest order, 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐮 take over the Miscellania decks all-night as a gentle chaser to our 𝟏𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 show earlier that evening. Two DJs without Instagram profiles playing deep, subtle, and beautiful dance music, all-night-long. Perfection <3

𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 is an oddball music devotee. The selector (formerly titled Instant Peterson) is one of the most locally vital music archivists, cataloguing eclectic left-field, plaintive and gentle electronica through his elusive DJ sets, but perhaps best known as former co-host of RRR's 'Strange Holiday' (with Andras) and co-curator of Efficient Space's acclaimed 'Midnite Spares' compilation of 'Australian' dance music classix. Four-time Inner Varnika alum that's playing his first club party at Misc. A bucket list booking for us.

We're always courting 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐮 back to the Miscellania decks. One of the most experienced and attuned DJs on the continent, the Indonesia-born, Melbourne-based DJ has quietly done his thing for well over a decade, leaving a resonating impact while keeping a low profile. His co-curated (with Moopie) compilations on A Colourful Storm - 𝑆𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝐼𝑛 𝑀𝑦 𝐴𝑟𝑚𝑠 and 𝐼 𝑊𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝐻𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑇𝑜 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝐴𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑌𝑜𝑢 - are eternal slices of beautiful melancholia, and his rare DJ sets at Miscellania including a recent appearance at Absorb are always memorable.
