Mixed Signals
Written and directed by Marco Rosario, Mixed Signals is a feature-length romantic comedy about relationships, timing, identity, and the complicated ways our lives can unexpectedly collide.
Inspired by the spirit of classic ’90s and early 2000’s romantic comedies, Mixed Signals blends humor, heart, and a few very complicated connections into a story about figuring out who you are, what you want, and what happens when life refuses to follow the plan.
Typecasted
Typecasted marks the filmmaking debut of David Herbert.
When a last-minute audition calls for a leading man, three struggling Black actors, Shams, Burt, and Sterling arrive only to discover they're all up for the same stereotypical role. Forced to compete in a chaotic casting process, their desperate attempts to stand out lead to a sobering truth. In Hollywood, they're not seen as individuals, but as a single, interchangeable type. Faced with this harsh reality, they must decide whether to keep chasing a flawed dream or finally reclaim their own identities.

What does my $20 ticket include?
Your ticket includes admission to both Typecasted and the feature film Mixed Signals, plus the post-screening Q&A, meet & greet, and photo opportunities.
Is seating reserved?
Seating is general admission unless otherwise noted. Arriving early is recommended for the best choice of seats.
Should I arrive before the listed showtime?
Yes. We recommend arriving early to allow time for check-in, seating, photos, and enjoying the theater before the program begins.
Will the filmmakers and cast be there?
Yes. Members of the filmmaking teams and cast are expected to attend, with a live Q&A and meet & greet following the screenings.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely. There will be opportunities for photos before and after the screenings. We simply ask that guests do not photograph or record the films during the screenings.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Advance tickets are strongly recommended. Door sales will only be available if the event has not sold out.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled or otherwise stated by the organizers.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
If you are unable to attend and need to transfer your ticket, please contact the event organizer rather than changing or sharing ticket information on your own.
