Description
Mixed Up Healing is a monthly facilitated group space, held on Zoom, which is held by Amy and Aris. Every month we explore a different question or aspect of mixed identity and what it is to be mixed, specifically through the lens of creative practice.
Mixed Up Healing is for you if you’ve ever been unsure about which ethnicity box to tick on the census, or if you’ve ticked a box and it’s put you into an existential crisis about your racialised (racial?) identity. Or if you’ve ever been described as ‘white-passing’ and are not sure of what that is. Come and join us as we explore what it is to be mixed in this world obsessed with binary choices.
Each session is held on Zoom for 90 minutes, divided between creative practice, introspection, embodied practice and discussion. Together we hope to bridge the gap between how we see ourselves and how the world sees us, centring healing, joy, authenticity and learning.
