MKE VSS Presents Lunch on a Vintage Train

Step back in time as you board a beautifully restored vintage train and embark on a scenic journey through picturesque landscapes. We will meet at the East Troy Electric Railroad at 11:30 for check-in and photo ops. The train will depart at noon. Lunch will be served on board as we travel to our destination, the trip will take about an hour. Once we arrive at Indian Head park in Mukwonago there will be a short break to stretch our legs and allow the train conductors to turn the train around, then we will travel back to the depot. Dessert and coffee/tea will be served on the return trip.

Complimentary milk, water, tea and coffee will be served. Cash bar (featuring our signature cocktail - the Bees Knees) also available.

Lunch option 1:

House salad, roasted beef tips with mushroom gravy, garlic smashed potatoes, seasonal vegetable, dinner rolls, chocolate cake for dessert.

Lunch option 2:

House salad, lightly breaded chicken breast topped with marinara and mozzarella cheese served over linguini, seasonal vegetable, dinner rolls, spice cake for dessert.

Lunch option 3 (Vegan/gluten free):

House salad, steamed wild rice, sautéed seasonal vegetables, chimichurri sauce, fresh herb bundle garnish. Fresh fruit with coco whip for dessert.

After the train brings us back to the depot there will be an optional adventure to J. Lauber's Ice Cream Parlor across the street (2010 Church St) for some tasty treats.

As always, vintage and vintage-style dress is encouraged for our events. We firmly believe in "vintage style not vintage values" - all our welcome at our events but we extend an extra special welcome to members of the BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginialised communities. Vintage is for everyone!
