MKE VSS Summer Picnic

The Milwaukee Vintage Style Society invites you to their 2024 summer picnic!  It will be held on Sunday, July 21st 11:30 - 4 at Root River Parkway site #2, which is the same site as last year.  

Lunch will consist of grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and vegan burgers (we will have a vegan-only grill), an assortment of side salads, and save your fork!  There will be pie.  Sodas and waters will be provided, BYO if you want something stronger.

After lunch we will play musical chairs, bocce, croquet, badminton, and trac ball, and it wouldn't be a summer picnic without a contest or 2, so this year we will have a Dessert Pie Baking contest AND a Prettiest Ankles contest!  If you wish to participate in the pie baking contest please send an email to mke.vintage.style.society@gmail.com for rules.

As always vintage and vintage-style fashions are encouraged but never required at our events.  We are not era specific and we leave the interpretation of what is vintage up to you!  We firmly believe in "Vintage Style, Not Vintage Values" and welcome everyone to our events, but we extend an extra-special welcome to members of the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities.
