MMA Handgun Open Days

Has your club been shut down, and have you not been able to meet all of your mandatory attendance requirements for the year? Then this day is for you!

Mundaring Marksmen Association is opening its doors for a day to help you get your attendance signed off. Bookings are available for Handguns. Please read the following information to get more details:

• Each time slot is 1h. During this time, you will be able to get ready, receive a safety briefing and range commands, shoot (about 30 minutes) and receive the results of the competition. 

• If you have several firearms you would like to use, book the relevant number of time slots. Each time slot will only cover 1 handgun.

• SSAA Membership is mandatory to participate in this day. You will be requested to provide your membership number and expiry date. Not a SSAA member yet? Click HERE to apply for your membership now. You can opt in for the "SSAA Mutual Firearms Protection" 

• You must wear ear protection, safety glasses and enclosed shoes. Camouflage apparel is forbidden.

• Numbers are strictly limited. If a time slot shows as sold out, it is sold out, and no additional tickets can be arranged. 

• You need to complete the Mundaring Marksmen Association's Basic Handgun Training before booking a ticket. Go to mundaringmarksmen.podia.com to complete this, as you will need to bring your certificate with you on the day.

• If you need to cancel your booking, you can do this via the self-service option up to 2 days before the event. Do not ask the club to do this for you, as we can not access this option.

HANDGUN:

• Bring your handgun in a bag or case, and start from a table.

• Shoot at 15 and 10m with time limits for each stage.

• 4 stages, 48 rounds.

• You must bring your own firearm and ammunition.

• Chamber Flags will be mandatory. If you do not own one, they will be available for purchase on the day for $5 each (please bring cash).

• Arrive 20 minutes early to allow for check-in.

• Holsters are not required for Open Days.

At the end of your shoot, your attendance will be recorded and uploaded to Practiscore for you to see your results.
