The Marlborough Multicultural Centre is a non for profit organisation dedicated to fostering social unity and a sense of belonging. We achieve this by collaborating with government and community services to establish a secure and inclusive space for diverse multicultural communities.

In 2006, in response to significant demographic changes, Marlborough emerged as one of seven regions selected to spearhead a pioneering "Settling to Initiative" project initiated by the Ministry of Social Development in partnership with various central and local government agencies. This endeavour aimed to address the challenges faced by newcomers and their integration into the local communities, ultimately revealing a pressing demand for assistance and information.

Since its inception in January 2006, our centre has remained steadfast in its commitment to bringing people together, providing companionship and assistance, and championing the celebration of cultural diversity within the Marlborough community.
