MND Beast Challenge - Mount Gambier
Description
On Thursday 24 September, the Mount Gambier and Green Triangle community is coming together for a special evening in support of the MND Beast Challenge and the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.
After travelling more than 20,000km around Australia by motorbike, raising funds and awareness for FightMND along the way, Nigel Howard’s MND Beast Challenge is making its way to Mount Gambier as he nears the end of the mainland leg of his incredible journey.
With Nigel and the MND Beast Challenge having strong connections to the timber industry, we’d love to see the Green Triangle community get behind him and help us make this a fantastic night.
Join us at the North Gambier Football Club Rooms from 5.30pm to 8.30pm for a fun and relaxed Quiz Night, bringing together local businesses, workmates, friends and families for a great cause.
What’s happening on the night?
Bring along a team, book a table with your workmates, or simply come along and we’ll help you join a table on the night.
Tickets are $20 per person, and every ticket purchased includes automatic entry into our Grand Prize Draw to win two nights’ accommodation at Marley’s, Robe.
There’ll also be a live auction, raffles, games and fundraising activities throughout the evening, plenty of laughs, and the chance to hear more about Nigel’s journey and why he decided to take on this enormous challenge for FightMND.
Tables of 8 - 10 are available, and we’d particularly love to see local workplaces getting involved. Rally the crew, put together a table, come up with a team name and see which Mount Gambier business can claim the Quiz Night bragging rights!
MND has touched families and communities right across Australia, including people within our own timber industry and Green Triangle community. This is our opportunity to come together, have a great night and help raise much-needed funds for research and the fight against this devastating disease.
