Mob Exhibition Launch

Event description

Join us for the launch of our newest exhibition Mob, where you’ll be immersed in the local Aboriginal culture through a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, performances by First Nations artists and a walk through the new exhibition.

MOB contains a large variety of objects sourced from the museum’s collection- many of which have never been on display before - that tell stories of resilience, grief, strength and hope. Submerge yourself in local Aboriginal culture and community, learn the history of the land you walk on and listen to the stories that these cultural objects hold.

Formalities will start at 5.35pm. Complimentary drinks and nibbles to follow.

Free.
