This session is for Transgender, Gender Diverse, and Non-Binary people 16 years & over.
About the session:
Welcome to Styling 101! This workshop will teach you some of the basics of fashion styling including how to make an outfit more interesting, how to use proportions to your advantage, and other tips and tricks for shopping and getting dressed. Whether you're keen to explore creative expression through getting dressed or if the idea of getting dressed every day stresses you out, this workshop is here to help!
About the facilitator:
Clare Davoren (she/her) is a Fashion Stylist based in Naarm/Melbourne. She enjoys helping her clients find their personal style, with an approach that centres her values of sustainability, ethics, and uplifting all bodies and identities through what they wear. Clare is particularly passionate about providing styling services to trans and gender diverse people to support them in their transition. On top of her personal styling work, Clare also works as a Stylist and Creative Director for Editorials and commercial photoshoots.
Refundable deposit: There is a $15 refundable deposit for this session, and as long as you either attend the session or cancel more than 2 days in advance, you will be refunded this cost. If you do not cancel with at least two day's notice, or you do not show up, you will be charged the $15. If you are committed to coming to the session but the $15 fee poses a financial barrier, please contact us at peersupport@tgv.org.au.

- Complete a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test prior to attending any of our events.
- Feel like you are coming down with a cold or flu? Please stay home and cancel your booking by emailing us.
- Bring your favourite mask to wear! (If wearing a mask is accessible for you)
