Event description

Embroidery can be used in a number of different ways, from decorative pieces for your wall, to cute monograms on your linen, and fun designs on clothing - like a bold patch on a denim jacket.

Join us for a fun workshop and learn the basics of embroidery. This includes learning how to set up your hoop (useful for a number of different types of sewing), different fabric weaves, creating a design and choosing your threads, and learning different stitches for a variety of effects.

You'll learn basic stitches like the running stitch, and try some more complicated ones like the french knot!

This class is for absolutely beginners. No sewing or embroidery experience necessary!

All class materials provided, with fabric, threads and needles to take home.
