Modular 101 - Canberra

Spend the afternoon with modular heads Assembler Code and 5RT learning solid foundational skills in the art of patching a modular synth. Create razor sharp leads, ripping bass lines and cinematic soundscapes.

After learning some core concepts and listening to examples from each of the artists, participants will have the chance to put their knowledge into use with hands on patching guided by the artists on a range of hardware equipment.

Tickets to the workshop include entry to the 10//10 party where Assembler and 5RT will be performing live along a slew of incredible local talent. Vegan Dahl will be served at the end of the workshop where participants are welcome to hang out and decompress.

Although the workshop is created to shed light on modular synthesis, the skills gained can be applied to any type of synthesis or sound design therefore no previous experience or equipment is required.
