You're invited to connect with your community for a fun night with delicious food and some light-hearted trivia!
Kicking off at the Denman Village Community Centre at 6pm, you'll get to meet some new people with each round of trivia, and there'll be small prizes to share. Throughout the night you can enjoy a selection of shared curries - if you'd like to, we'd love you to bring one to share too.
Arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Trivia will be all over by 8pm then you're welcome to stay for as long as you'd like. The small ticket costs helps us to cover expenses - if the cost is an issue for you please contact us.
There will be a selection of curries to cater for most dietary requirements (including Halal), but we can't guarantee no cross-contamination, sorry.
All proceeds from the evening are supporting the Australian Lutheran World Service Precious appeal supporting women and girls at risk of child marriage.
FAQs
- Can kids come?
Absolutely! The trivia will have a range of questions for kids and adults of all ages to participate and we think kids will have a blast! Just remember that parents/guardians are responsible for their children, and children need to be accompanied by an adult.
- What if I'm not great at trivia?
That's fine! The trivia is pretty light-hearted (we won't really be keeping score), and the main point is to enjoy some good food and connect with friendly people.
- Is this just for people who live in Denman Prospect / Molonglo?
No, anyone is welcome.
