Momentary Blissness
Description
Momentary Blissness is a new community cinema night celebrating the audio-visual art form of music videos.
This night showcases the latest music videos, from high-budget-high-concept filmmakers, to films made on shoestring by edgy broke kids just starting out.
Our aim is to gather an audience to engage with this art form by exhibiting the best music videos from both renowned global and independent/hyperlocal artists, spanning from mainstream pop to genre-breaking music.
By throwing music videos up on a big screen with a sound system (pointedly NOT on your 7-inch phone screen that you use to pay bills and get off), we are creating a cosy space away from commercial cinemas that try to convince you to join the military.
Expect banging beats, visual delights, and a chance to discover human-picked-algorithm-free music.
Doors open at 7pm, showtime is at 7.30pm sharp.
There are only 40 seats, so please buy your tickets in advance.
As there is no bar at venue, this is a BYOB event (yay!)
