Empowering Changemakers: Launch Night

💥 What to Expect:

✍️ Part 1: Interactive Workshop (5:30 – 6:15PM)

Step into the space and start exploring your changemaker journey. Wander through stations that prompt your thinking. Or have a conversation or whine to some new friends and unwind after a hard day’s yakka!

We'll have boards, pens, and stickers – you bring your ideas, values, and voice. This is all about you and what drives you.

🚀 Part 2: Series Launch (6:15 – 6:30PM)

We’ll officially kick off the evening by welcoming you into the Social Change Collective whānau — sharing our kaupapa, the principles that guide us: equity, community, courage, and connection.

Then, we’ll take you behind the scenes of the Empowering Changemakers series — a bold new initiative designed to elevate the voices of rangatahi, amplify grassroots leadership, and spark action on the issues that matter most.

You’ll hear:

• 🌱 Who we are – a youth-led, values-driven collective committed to building a more just and sustainable Aotearoa.
  
  
• 🌍 What we’re building – a series of workshops, panels, and storytelling events where young changemakers can grow, collaborate, and lead.
  
  
• 🤝 How you can be part of it – whether you're keen to attend, volunteer, facilitate, or share your own mahi, there's a place for you in this movement.
  
  

This is more than a series — it’s a community. And it starts with you.
