Tending the Living Temple: MoN EcoSanctuary Weekend of Land Stewardship, Sacred Work, & Connection
Event description
Join us for an intimate gathering for MoN members and our MoN NESN Collective Tending the Living Temple—a weekend of hands-on land stewardship, collective nourishment, and spiritual presence at our EcoSanctuary in western North Carolina. After the deep clearing and rest that the land has facilitated after Hurricane Helene she is finally ready to invite new guests.
This event is only open to MoN members to keep it intimate and honor the capacity and wishes of land at this time. No guests are permitted.
Together, we will tend to the sacred grounds through gardening, wood chopping, cleaning, spiritual cleansing, and caring for the elements that sustain us.
By day, we work side-by-side with the land—clearing, planting, restoring, and remembering. By night, we gather around the fire to share meals, stories, music, and prayer, weaving our energy into the soul of the sanctuary.
Whether you come with tools in hand or open hands ready to learn, your presence is the gift. This land is excited to welcome you.
Your may arrive either on Friday 9/5 or Saturday morning 9/6 and everyone will depart Monday 9/8 at around noon.
Once you RSVP you will be sent a carpool sheet so we can travel sustainably, in community, and allow all those that wish to travel to attend! Please let us know if you'd like to be a driver.
Bring:
Plant-Based (Vegan) Food to share
Camping supplies if you'd like to camp (other sleeping accommodations are available first come first served)
Offerings for the land (crystals, sacred items, etc.)
An open heart and presence
Please review our Community Agreements before attending
Note: All of our water is fed by our personal spring that flows from the land so water is plentiful and clean, no need to bring any water. :)
