About our Playgroup

Our Playgroup is a warm, welcoming introduction to the world of Steiner education—and to our school community. More than just a playgroup, it is a nurturing, supportive space to connect with like-minded families and find a little soul nourishment during early parenthood.

We believe young children learn through their whole environment, so our space is intentionally simple, natural, and nourishing. Each week explores a different aspect of Steiner early childhood pedagogy.

What you & your child will experience

• Nourishing environment: Beautiful wooden toys, natural materials, and outdoor play.

• Seasonal rhythm: Engaging songs, verses, and gentle seasonal stories.

• Meaningful activities: Simple craft projects and weekly homemade bread baking.

• Shared table: Delicious, wholesome food prepared with care for everyone to share.

• Community connection: A place for parents and carers to meet, share, and learn alongside each other.

Session details

• When: Mondays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Runs during school terms)

• Who: Children aged 0–4 years along with their parents or carers.

• Facilitator: Zoe Goldsmith brings warmth, deep experience, and a thoughtful understanding of Steiner early childhood education to every Monday session.

Pricing & booking options

Places are limited and fill quickly, so early booking is recommended.

• Full Term Pass ($225 / 9-Week Term): Secures your spot for the entire term.
  

  • Flexible make-ups: If you miss a session, you are welcome to attend another Playgroup day (Wednesday or Friday) within the same term so you still get your full 9 sessions.

• Casual / Drop-In Pass ($25 / Session): Subject to weekly availability.

• Siblings:
  

  • Under 12 months: Free

  • 1 year and over: $5 per week

Why is there a fee?
As a small independent school, we receive no government funding for our Playgroup. Your contribution covers our dedicated facilitation, natural materials, creative resources, and nourishing shared food.
