Mongolian Khool featuring Charles Duan
Event description
Genghis Khan once ruled half of the world - now Mongolian flavours have made their way to Cardwell Cellars.
We're handing over kitchen duties to Charles Duan (Gaea) to whip up some innovative à la carte Mongolian bar food - think lamb skewers, wild pickles, smoked meat, steamed dumplings, fried croquettes and black pudding.
It's a one-night-only nomadic feast paired with Northern China's best wines, cuvées mixed with rice wine, aged in traditional clay pots, and made to complement food found in the steppes, with some special bottles from Lewei Wines (乐为葡萄酒).
Not recommended for vegetarians. Reserve your spot for à la carte Mongolian bar food. Feast like a khan, quench your thirst, and let loose your desire to conquer the world on horseback.
