Monitoring & evaluating the impact of local governments on their communities

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

The NSW Government requires all councils to have a 10 year strategic plan to identify community priorities and set out strategies for achieving these goals. The challenge is being able to measure the impact of councils on their communities and determine which KPIs to use.

This introductory workshop provides a framework, results-based accountability (RBA), for measuring the impact local governments have on their communities. The workshop covers:

  • why evaluate: accountability v program improvement
  • program logic, theories of change and the quadruple aim
  • population indicators v program measures.
