Event description

Please note: this event has been postponed. A new date will be announced shortly.

Witness the daring work of Lucas Abela (SYD), who uses plate glass and noise electronics in his legendary performances. Over the past two years Abela has completely reimagined his performance, developing a quadraphonic approach that synchronises with his body resulting in a responsive and embodied aural intensity.

Abela is supported by local noise-artist-turned-electronics-experimentalist Phantom Chips (aka Tara Pattenden). Pattenden’s internationally acclaimed performances use her vast array of handmade instruments and DIY electronics, creating dynamic and unpredictable music that has a language of its own.

Please note: limited seating will be available for those who need it.
