Monster Ball 2026
Description
Presented with NYX Professional Makeup
Calling all creatures of the night! Monster Ball returns to the Victorian Pride Centre for a Halloween celebration of queer creativity, self-expression and a little animal instinct.
As NYX Professional Makeup’s flagship event at the Victorian Pride Centre, we’re bringing our communities together for a night of fabulous looks, entertainment and dancing.
This year’s theme is Party Animals. Think fabulous feathers, fierce felines, creepy crawlies or a creature entirely of your own invention. Costumes are encouraged—go all out or add a little animal flair.
Entertainment, music and makeup
Join Kween Kong and Black Widow, with DJ BORN LUCKY providing the soundtrack to your Halloween night.
Give your party look a refresh at the NYX Professional Makeup touch-up stations, then head back into the fun.
Whether you’re coming with friends or arriving solo, join our LGBTIQA+ communities and allies for a night of celebration in the heart of St Kilda.
Strut your stuff: Best Dressed Runway
Show off your Party Animals look on the Best Dressed Runway, hosted by Kween Kong. Walk the runway, work the crowd and let the audience decide who takes out best dressed on the night.
There are prizes for best dressed, plus a small giveaway for everyone who attends. Joining the runway is optional—you’re welcome to cheer on your favourites from the crowd.
