Monster, This is Your Life

Come make your very own comic strip starring a monster of your creation! This guided workshop is based on an exercise created by Lynda Barry in her book Making Comics. No drawing or writing experience necessary. Once the comics are finished,explore a variety of creative reuse materials to create your monster in real life. 

Ages 12+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Reserve your seats before the event! Drop-in is not guaranteed. 

SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expression, so we’re offering tiered ticket options:

• Independent Crafter ($5) - This ticket reflects the “true value” of the event and is geared toward those who will be creating solo or with assistance from an adult.
• Assistant Crafter ($2) - This ticket is geared toward adults accompanying youth who won't be crafting independently. The cost of this ticket supports our programming, contributes to continued ticket accessibility, and ensures a space in the workshop for chaperones — thank you so much!

All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
