This is more than just a workshop, it’s a creative jam session bringing the skateboarding and creative communities together. You’ll get exclusive access to capture photo and video content on top of the biggest vert ramp in the Southern Hemisphere while shooting some of Australia’s best skateboarders throwing down insane tricks on both the mini ramps and the massive 14.5ft vert.
Learn how to harness natural light, track fast-moving athletes, and elevate your action photography and filmmaking while immersing yourself in the energy of the skate scene.

Using the camera in manual mode - settings and exposure for video
Composing and pre-visualising your composition
Track moving subjects in auto mode
Understanding movement and how to capture the action “Skateboarding ticks” to tell a story
Hand held filming techniques
What to bring:
Your DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!) Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring spares
Memory card so you can keep your photos at the end of the workshop
Any lens you have (wide/ zoom, we can make it work)
ND filter (if you have them)
Water bottle
Please bring weather appropriate clothing include a jacket and hats
Sunscreen
Comfortable shoes
