Monthly Death Cafe in Wheat Ridge, Colorado
Description
Death Doulas, Dr. Lily Zehner, LMFT & Amy Holtgreive Storey are inviting you to join us for our monthly death cafe! Essentially we'll enjoy cake, sip on tea, and discuss death, mortality, & life.
A Death Cafe is a worldwide phenomena. It is a community gathering where we come together and talk about the things that are often avoided, with curiosity, kindness, and support...and cake!
As we gather, we'll have an open dialogue with each other-- no professional facilitators or guest speakers, just humans taking the opportunity to create a different relationship with death and life. Our space is inclusive and welcoming, respecting everyone's own identities, experiences, thoughts, and values.
Because this conversation is tender, we will keep the group small with a limit of 15 attendees so we can allow for ample space and time for everyone. Please RSVP in advance to secure your spot.
We will gather at Space Denver the second Tuesday of every month, 6pm-7:30pm. It is always free and open to everyone who is 18+.
Note: this is not a grief group or counseling session.
We look forward to connecting with you!
