Monthly Forum: The Race to 80x50 - Can NYC Reach The Finish Line In Time?

In 2014, New York City enacted a bold commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 80% by the year 2050. Since launching this landmark 80x50 initiative, billions of dollars have been committed to shrinking the city's carbon footprint, scaling up renewable energy, and publishing aggressive blueprints for change.

Over a decade later, we gather to ask the hard questions: What has the city been doing? What should it be doing? And are we truly on track to achieve that goal? Join us for an essential discussion on the past, present, and future of NYC's sustainability movement.
