Moolabin Rewilding
Event description
Join the Moolabin Rewilding bushcare group for an afternoon of weeding at Moorooka Lions Bicentennial Park. The group is working to restore the riparian vegetation along Moolabin Creek by removing invasive weed species and when possible, replanting with native seedlings.
The group meets on the 3rd Sunday of every month and for occasional Tuesday morning sessions. From October to March the Sunday sessions begin at 4pm, while in the cooler months the working bee commences at 2:30 pm. For a full list of dates time please see the list below.
The group meets in the parkland area closest to 79 Albermarle St, Yeerongpilly / behind Wattle Ave. If you would like more information then please get in touch with Camilla via partnerships@oxleycreekcatchment.org.au
What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, hat and gloves
What to wear: Please wear enclosed shoes and sun-safe clothing
