American/Australian singer-songwriter bringing heart-songs that reveal a better way for a generation in transitional times on our planet! From his lively, progressive grooves, to his deeply prayerful chants, spanning many genres, Chad’s rootsy folk anthems carry themes of love, gratitude, risk, honour, and pure vibrant LIFE – giving voice to our cry for spiritual transformation, harmony with the Earth, and hope for a bright future.

Touring extensively, Chad’s performance style is unique and spontaneous – whether performing solo, with his full band, or anywhere in between, he guides his listeners through an interactive journey ranging from dancing celebration to mindful meditation to sing-along declarations.

Enter the magical realm of Sky Eater, where mermaids dance to the rhythm of the sea. 

Sky Eater is the dreamy lovechild of water spirit Chelsea Skyeater and dub soldier TK Bassdread. Chelsea’s soaring vocals and TK’s rootsy soundscapes create a contemporary fusion of dub, trip-hop and soulful pop that warms the heart.

Drawing inspiration from trailblazing acts like Björk, Portishead, and Morcheeba, Sky Eater love to incorporate technical innovation seamlessly into their live performances. This edition sees them expanding to an OCTET format to perform an all-live offering of songs from their album "SUBmerged", featuring Northern NSW's finest musicians. On the lineup we have Jarrah Kurth (Drums), John Dixon (Bass), Tom Kelly (Guitar), Ally Palmer (Keys), Anni De Groot (Viola), Elena Marcigot (Saxophone/Clarinet) and Aya Trumpet (Trumpet) and Chelsea (Saxophone, Flute, Keys) and a whole lot of lush vocal layers in store. 

Think reverb-soaked piano, dreamy vocal melodies, trip hop, soul and reggae-infused beats with intuitive lyrics and sparkly dub/jungle influences.

Sky Eater have toured and performed at festivals and events throughout 5 Australian states, New Zealand and the UK. Highlights include Boomtown Fair (UK), Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Luminate (NZ), Wide Open Space (NT), Island Vibe (QLD) and Kuranda Roots (QLD).
