Moon Circle, Forest & Moon Bathing and Ceremonial Cacao
Event description
Come together to join for a Moon circle, Forest Moon Bathing and Ceremonial Cacao at Bush Magic Headquarters in Muriwai Valley.
It's been a while since we shared space for circle or gathering, with new plans forging ahead for the future of Bush Magic, it seems like the right time to meet together in front of the lushness of a midwinter fire. Matariki and Winter Solstice will have just passed, this is the perfect timing to release anything you don't want to carry forward into the new year and set intentions for the one beginning.
We will also discuss seasons of our cycle, how it might line up with the weather seasons and how we can harness that magic and ritual in our daily lives. Living attuned to the ebbs and flows of our body cycles as well as those provided for us by nature is the ultimate feminine magic and embodiment I would encourage all sisters to embrace!
When we have taken in the magic of watching the sun set in the tops of the Kauri trees as it passed behind the hills of Muriwai Valley we will take a short walk in the ngahere/bush path (you can be among the first to see the new bush toilet and where the bath will be set!) to let the magic of Papatūānuku and Tane (God of the Forest) absorb into us. Bathing in the greens of the bush with the moon above us has an ultimate cleansing experience.
Finally we will back up to the warmth of the fire and share ceremonial cacao. We can set intentions for the journey moving forward. There will be warm soup and bread rolls to finish which you can either join us for or duck out if you need to make a timely exit.
Payment for this event is on a koha basis, it is an energy exchange for the time and resources I put into making this event come to life. If payment is difficult or you would prefer to trade or skill exchange instead, please don't hesitate to get in touch! I love a good barter system instead of capitalist fiscal exchange 😉🥰
