Moon Dance at Three Caves

Dance with friends under the stars at beautiful Three Caves to help save freshwater resources and great natural lands at Moon Over Three Caves Dance. Moon Dance is a dinner featuring live music from Quantaphonics and a silent auction. The event is held in the beautiful bowl of Three Caves Quarry on Monte Sano Nature Preserve and is our biggest fundraiser of the year!

Important Ticket Information: Land Trust Members at the Pathfinder ($100 annually) level or above receive a discounted ticket price. To redeem your discount, please enter the Access Code sent to you by email on 8/1/25. If you are a qualifying member and did not receive the Access Code, please call the Land Trust office at 256-534-5263 BEFORE purchasing tickets, and we will provide the code.

If you are not a member and would like to save money on this and future Land Trust events, consider joining at the Pathfinder Level ($100 annually). Details on membership levels, benefits, and how to become a member can be found at https://landtrustnal.org/support/membership/. You need to purchase a membership BEFORE buying tickets to receive your access code. After purchasing your membership, please call the Land Trust office to receive the code.

Helpful Tip: If you are buying tickets for multiple people, please have their names and contact information ready beforehand so that you can easily send them a copy of their ticket. If you don't know their information, select "Copy From Order" to automatically fill in your information. You will be able to go back later and add individual names and information by selecting "Manage Order" in the confirmation email. If you do not plan to arrive together to the event, you also have the option to email the ticket(s) to your other party guest(s).

What is Moon Dance?

• The Venue | Three Caves is located within the Land Trust’s Monte Sano Nature Preserve – one of the largest urban nature preserves in the US – and has become one of the most unique outdoor venues in North Alabama. Conveniently located just two miles from Downtown Huntsville, Three Caves gets its name from the three limestone openings that accentuate the stage. The venue offers a comfortable ~55°F temperature year-round. As the sun sets and the lights begin to accentuate the walls, guests are in store for a truly magical experience.

• Dinner | A buffet-style dinner, including a vegetarian option, will be provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Two drink tickets are included with your admission and additional wine and beer will be available for purchase. No outside food or drink allowed.

• Music | The talent for the evening will be Quantaphonics, a local favorite and staple in the Huntsville music community since early 2018. This progressive-soul powerhouse, with up to 13 members on stage, fuses jazz, soul, hip hop, funk, rock, and more into an unforgettable sonic experience.

• Silent Auction | Shop the silent auction! All bidding will be conducted online through 32Auctions. Select items will be displayed at the event, including unique experiences on Land Trust properties, local art, and a variety of products or services contributed by regional businesses. Bidding is one day only – Saturday, September 20 from 8 AM to 9:30 PM, CDT.

• Transportation | A free shuttle service from Huntsville Hospital parking lots begins around 6:30 PM, as there is no on-site parking at the venue. Rideshare drop-off is at Mountain Springs Pool. Gates open at 6:30 PM.

• Attire | Casual dress with closed toe shoes (due to gravel) recommended. The temperature at Three Caves is typically a few degrees cooler due to cool air coming from the caves.
