Moon Festival at Youth Hub
Description
Before our big Moonlit Memories celebration in Lower Hutt, we’re bringing a little piece of Tết Trung Thu into Wellington City. ❤️
On Saturday 19 September, Te Tai Ohinga | Youth Hub will turn into a small Vietnamese Moon Festival space where you can drop in, make something, taste something, take a photo and discover a little more about the traditions many of us grew up with.
This one is less about a big festival programme and more about getting involved.
🥮 Choose your favourite mould and make your own mooncake
🎨 Sit down and get creative in our all-day craft area
📸 Stop by the check-in backdrop and photo corner
🖌️ Get your own Chibi portrait
🏮 Visit the Viet Hub NZ fundraising stall and discover traditional Trung Thu items
🍜 Grab some food and drinks from our local vendors
❤️ And most importantly, spend some time together with friends, children and whānau.
You don’t need to know anything about Trung Thu to join us. Come for five minutes or stay for a while. Bring the kids, meet someone new, make something together and enjoy a small taste of Vietnamese culture in the middle of Wellington.
