More Big Dang Friday featuring Musical Di-Comedy & Fugue State: A One Man Improvised Musical
Event description
Dangit, we needed more Big Dang Friday! January 24 at 9 pm features Musical Di-Comedy and the One Man Improvised Musical Fugue State!
Step into a world of spontaneous song and storytelling with Musical Di-Comedy. Join this ensemble of talented improvisers as they create a brand-new, never-before-seen musical for you—an entire show woven together with original melodies, clever lyrics, and engaging narratives, all inspired by your suggestion! From heartfelt ballads to upbeat anthems, every moment is crafted on the spot, making each performance a one-of-a-kind experience. Musical Di-Comedy features Brandon Enriquez, Whitney Peters, Milo Wilder, Wes Phillips, Rebecca Depew, and Raymund King. Musical Direction by Josh Diamond.
In Fugue State, one man and one pianist create a one-of-a-kind musical on the spot! Stomping Ground Training Center Director and veteran performer Greg Mihalik improvises a musical by himself with the help of esteemed accompanist and musical director Joshua Diamond. Watch in wonder as Greg takes the audience on a musical journey that follows the path of several unique, larger-than-life characters all played by one man. Come see what the Dallas Observer called "a one-man show that's actually impressive."
Rated M for Mature/18+. Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door.
