Presented by Ceara McManus, Founder of CHALK - Strategies in Literacy, Arts, and Education. 

Ceara McManus is the founder of The CHALK Crew. She is a story-teller, teacher and teacher trainer with over 30 years of international experience. She has taught EALD in Europe, Asia and Australia and trains educators to use a creative arts approach to language and literacy learning. Ceara also teaches EALD and communication skills for adult learners at The University of Queensland.

The CHALK Crew runs workshops for children, building literacy skills through a program where we read, play, sing, make, move and learn. We are passionate about professional development. As well as running workshops, The CHALK Crew creates materials and programs for early childhood educators to assist them with language and skill building activities for the children they work with.

1 or 2 Optional On-site Mentoring Session ($175 + GST + Travel) (Invoiced separately, date to be negotiated between yourself and Ceara McManus)

2 Optional Collaborative Learning Community Session (@ 1-hour sessions) 

1. Thursday 11 September 4.30 - 5.30pm
2. Wednesday 15 October 4.30 - 5.30pm
