Join Worlds 4 All and FalconWizard for a 7-week, virtual workshop series designed to help you master the art of TTRPG facilitation!

More Than Mechanics is a live, interactive, and facilitated series that guides participants in becoming the game masters (GMs) they aspire to be. This is a system and setting-agnostic workshop space that will review and refine skills transferable to almost any tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) system, with a focus on hosting inclusive and collaborative sessions. As a cohort, you will explore a range of topics with your facilitators, including safety tools, facilitation and time management techniques, how to effectively digest a core rulebook and prep for a session, helpful GM resources, and more. Sessions will include mini-lessons, demonstrations, and discussions, with each participant also given the opportunity to run a short session and gather feedback from their cohort mates and facilitators. Finally, participants and facilitators will have access to a private Discord server both during and after the series in order to continue supporting each other as a collaborative community.

The price for this workshop series includes 7 sessions that each run on Thursdays from 8-10:30pm EST. Please ONLY sign-up for this workshop if you can attend at least six of the seven dates listed below:

Eric Crumrine (he/they), also known around the internet as FalconWizard, is a game designer, podcaster, and professional game master (GM). He has been running games since around 2010, most notably as the co-host and founder of The QueerXP actual play podcast, which has run close to 100 indie TTRPGs over the course of the show.

Heather Silva (she/her) is the is the founder of Worlds 4 All LLC, a creative event service that specializes in professional TTRPG facilitation with an emphasis on co-creating safer and more inclusive spaces. Based in Massachusetts, she is also a former secondary educator, grassroots community organizer, dancer, and auntie. While Heather may have only found her way to TTRPGs a decade ago, they proved to be a perfect fusion of her love for performing, storytelling, and building meaningful community, so she hasn't stopped playing since!
