Event description

What would it take to see the Moreton Bay Region lead Australia's efforts in using business as a force for good to tackle local issues?

Come along to connect with local business leaders, social enterprises, ESG experts, Council and purpose-led people over lunch and some great conversations.

Hosted by QSEC at the Lagoon Creek Cafe, this 'lunch and learn' opportunity will see you network with others, hear from a panel of engaged community members and explore ways to engage in this rapidly growing movement.

The panel will explore key opportunities for the Moreton Bay Region and include Deb Griesheimer, Manager of Caboolture Workers Co-operative, Kris Spann, Local Business Resilience Officer at Moreton Bay Regional Council, Barbara Armstrong, founder of Sweet Peanuts Social Enterprise and Mark Cooper, co-founder of Aspire in a conversation chaired by Tom Allen (CEO, Impact Boom).

No matter what part of the ecosystem you're involved with, you'll walk away with fresh perspectives and insights.

The Lagoon Creek Cafe social enterprise will provide some delicious lunch!
