Morning Tea with Good Shepherd (Financial Independence and Wellbeing)
Event description
About the Event:
Join us for a warm and welcoming morning tea hosted by Good Shepherd at the Craig Family Centre, focused on building financial confidence, understanding spending habits, and navigating today’s rising cost of living.
Whether you're looking to better manage your own finances, support a loved one, or just want to have a cuppa and connect with others in a relaxed setting, this session offers practical tools, expert guidance, and community connection.
Back by popular demand after a successful Term 2 session, this Term 3 session includes fresh new content, so whether you’re attending again or joining us for the first time – you’ll gain something valuable.
What to Expect:
🧠 Identify your spending personality – Learn how you naturally interact with money: do you save it, spend it, gift it, or take risks with it?

💡 Money-saving tips – Participate in a round-table discussion sharing real strategies, including websites for saving on groceries, petrol, and more.
💬 Supportive conversations – This is a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental space open to all genders and all financial backgrounds.
📘 Access free support – Find out how to access Good Shepherd’s free and confidential financial counselling services.
