Mosaic - RECORDING - music for Cello and Accordion

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Would you like to be a supporter of the latest recording on the Bach in the Dark label?

Good friends Rachel Scott (cello) and Anthony Schulz (accordion) went into the studio in April 2022. They recorded pieces they'd been rehearsing and performing over the last few years - and 'Mosaic' was the result.

Unlike other recordings Rachel has done, this will only be released electronically. On Sunday January 29, most of the tracks will be released onto various streaming platforms. If you'd like to be a supporter of the project, for $15 (or more, if you'd like to make an extra donation), all these tracks can be yours to download - with a few extra musical treats.

If you become a supporter of the project, you'll get all the tracks (either at CD quality, or high-resolution audio quality) to be streamed, a bonus audio track (that won't be released), hand-written program notes for all the music and two videos to watch - one of Rachel and Anthony playing, and one of them talking about the composition of one of the tracks. A bargain!

What's recorded? Some Bach (two Menuets from the Anna Magdalena Notebook and the 'Little' Fugue), pieces inspired by Bach (by Richard Charlton, Raffaele Marcellino and M.B.Sibson) and three of Anthony's compositions. There's some straight 'classical' music, some tango-esque music, music that's been created in the moment, pieces to make you smile, and pieces to make your heart beat a little slower.

When you buy a 'ticket' within 15 minutes (or so) you'll get an email containing a download link to Google Drive - and there's your musical goodies waiting for you....  Thank you for your support!
