Mosaic workshop w Tay and Bay
Description
We are so thrilled and excited to be hosting another Mosaic Workshop held within our colourful showroom at Jatana Interiors in Federal Village.
We; Bayley Kilpin and Taya Mikah- are both practicing Artists, we will guide you through making a mosaic piece made from Jatana Interiors second tiles. This workshop we will be making a door mat- a detail to add to your home, business or any doorway you wish !
It is a great way to spend the weekend learning a new skill, meeting other creative people and making something you get to enjoy for a while yet. Mosaic making is a very meditative process and allows you to lean into your design brain, use your hands and have insight into the ancient practice of mosaic.
It is a two day workshop. The first day will span over 6 hours on the 28th (10am-4pm) AND 4 hours on the 29th (10am-12pm) the following day for the grouting and all polishing processes.
Activities will include designing, hammering tiles, gluing and grouting. (we can assist with the smashing if needed) All materials supplied.
Payment plans available just reach out:)
The space is accessible but if you have specifics needs please make contact beforehand so that we can arrange.
Email or message Taya with any questions.
