Moth Light Sheeting Night

Join Nillumbik Conservation Crew and the Entomological Society of Victoria to see some cool nocturnal insects!

We will have a moth light sheet setup to survey our local biodiversity and contribute to citizen science. Bring a friend along or meet some new people!

This event is for anyone aged 16 to 25. If you are under 18 please bring a guardian.

At the start of the night we will meet in the carpark at Wingrove Park and then walk over to the light sheet altogether. If anyone is interested we might also go on a spotlighting walk to see if we can find any nocturnal animals...

We'll be walking around at night so make sure you have:

• A torch

• Closed toed shoes

• Long pants and sleeves (and maybe mosquito repellent)

You can also download iNaturalist on your phone to help with bug id and collect data!
