Mother-Baby Nurture Facilitator Training
Event description
This opportunity is extended to health clinicians experienced at working with parents and infants, who hold an interest in, and capacity to deliver the Mother-Baby Nurture® under supervision. This 3-day training is the beginning of an ongoing learning process in developing reflective, relationship-focussed group facilitation skills. A commitment to ongoing reflective supervision, professional development and model fidelity is required - outlined in a Facilitator Agreement with MBN. A background in psychotherapeutic perinatal and infant mental health practice is highly beneficial but not essential, especially for those working outside the metro area.
MBN group is delivered by not-for-profit and government organisations, free to families, thanks to government grant funding. In most cases MBN facilitator training costs are borne by the employing organisation as a condition of their grant funding agreement. MBN is a training organisation and does not employ facilitators and as such, cannot guarantee employment after course completion. We welcome clinicians willing to participate (self-funded) for their own professional development or with the intent to secure future employment with a MBN service provider. The MBN training content is a licensed copyrighted product that cannot be copied, on-sold, reproduced, or altered without written permission, and the program cannot be delivered without a Service Provider Agreement with MBN.
