Do I need to organise a table?
No, this year’s event is a stand-up event. Please purchase tickets early, for planning purposes.
How will I find people I know?
There will be signage (in the form of balloons) for each year level or “MC” for Malvern Campus. If you don’t know many people, you may like to hang around near these areas, to meet other parents from the same year level. Or you might like to use the year level balloons to meet up with friends. We are a friendly and welcoming community.
I don’t know anyone . . . how will I meet people?
We will be working with the class reps to organise pre-event drinks where possible.
Are the Dads invited?
We are very inclusive and will welcome any Dad who would like to attend an event with 400+ women. Typically, there are a couple of Dads who attend each year.
What should I wear?
Wear something to party in. Dress up or wear a dress with sneakers so you can dance all night. The choice is yours. We’re there to have a good time.
Is there an after party?
Yes, there is an after party at Captain Baxter (upstairs from the venue).
How do I get home/to the after party?
To get to the after party, you will exit the venue, and walk upstairs to Captain Baxter, the after party venue. If you’re going home, organise a taxi/Uber for collection from 6/10-18 Jacka Boulevard, St Kilda.
