'Motherhood': A Storytelling with Jan Blake
Event description
A hunter is witnessed killing a buffalo, by her calf. The calf, a shapeshifter, transforms into a girl, measuring her foot in the imprint of the hunter’s foot on the forest floor. Realising that she’s too young, she vows to take revenge when old enough, and nurses the wound. As an adult, she pursues the hunter, intending to kill him, but the hunter’s mother saves the day.
Join Jan Blake as she shares a tale exploring the depths and mysteries of motherhood. Following the telling, Jan will lead us as we feed the story with an openhearted and transformative discussion.
