Mother's Connect: An event to nurture all of you
Description
Spread Your Wings: Mothers Connect
An event to nurture all of you.
I’m a mum. I’m a coach. And I’ve seen how often the systems meant to support mothers miss the mark.
This day is different.
Spread Your Wings: Mothers Connect Day is a three-hour community gathering in Gawler created for mothers who are showing up every day — even when it’s messy, exhausting, or invisible.
Some days motherhood feels like a quiet storm.
Some days it feels small.
Some days just showing up is the victory.
This morning is about honouring that.
What to Expect
• A panel of local support services sharing what’s genuinely available in our region
• Keynote speaker Danielle Baker, from The Nurtured Village, to spark reflection and insight around maternal wellbeing
• Time to connect with other mothers who understand
• Morning tea and meaningful conversation
• A gentle introduction to our six-week program, Metamorphosis: Who Am I Becoming
This is not about fixing you.
It’s not about productivity or perfection.
It’s about presence.
Connection.
Being seen.
You don’t need to prepare anything.
You don’t need to perform.
You don’t need to have it all together.
Come as you are.
If your world feels small right now — feedings, appointments, mental load, quiet exhaustion — this is a morning to step into something relational and supportive.
Because support should feel human.
Not transactional.
Not compliance-based.
But real.

Who am I?

Tamika Candlish - Spread Your Wings
Meet Tamika Candlish ✨ Tamika is a mum of three, neurodivergent woman, community builder, and the heart behind Mother’s Connect. Like so many women, she knows what it feels like to lose yourself in the roles of motherhood, responsibility, and caring for everyone else. Through her own journey of growth, healing, and rediscovering identity, Tamika has become deeply passionate about creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, and supported. She understands the juggle, the mental load, the self-doubt, and the quiet longing so many mothers carry to reconnect with who they are beyond what they do for others. As the founder of this event, Tamika brings together inspiring voices, real conversations, and meaningful connection to remind women that they matter too. Her mission is simple but powerful: to help mothers come home to themselves, reclaim their spark, and know they are never alone on the journey. Mother’s Connect is more than an event for Tamika — it’s a movement to lift women up, honour their stories, and create a ripple effect of empowerment in families and communities. 💛
